(Japanese: ユウト Yūto) is a recurring character that appeared in the anime during the Kami trio arc during BW059 and will appear in BW060. Ash and his friends meet up with him and he explains that the Template:Type2s in the area have fallen ill, including his Lilligant. He regularly takes Gothorita to Landorus's shrine to pray for Revival Herbs to grow so that the Pokémon can heal. Lately they have been dried up.
Yūto later asked Iris to dress like a priestess and pray in front of Landorus's shrine with his Gothorita to help awaken him so that he could stop Tornadus and Thundurus from fighting.
