Leppa Berries in the anime

Multiple Leppa Berries were seen growing in Dr. White's garden in A Fork in the Road! A Parting of the Ways!.

In the manga

In the Pokémon Adventures manga

Trivia

  • The Leppa Berry is one of only two Berries which has a unique growth period: In Generation III it was the only Berry that grew in 16 hours, while it is joined in that group by the Oran Berry and Persim Berry in Generation IV. The only other Berry with a growth period unique to itself is the Lum Berry.
  • When used as an item, its effect is identical to that of a regular Ether.
    • This makes it the most attainable method of PP restoration, as it can easily be planted for more (unlike Ethers which cannot be bought—or planted), and is easily attainable by various methods such as finding them, using Pickup, the Pokéwalker which was only in HeartGold and SoulSilver, or via Rock Smash which again potentially yielded Ethers in HeartGold and SoulSilver. It is also the only method of PP restoration in link battles outside of the Wonder Launcher.
