Legendary golems is the collective term used to refer to the trio of Registeel, Regice, and Regirock. They are also known as the Regi trio or just the Regis.

Unlike previous trios, the golems share much more similar names, at the cost of having their types be estranged from the standard Fire, Water/Ice, Electric trio. However, similarly to the previous two, they have a master, Regigigas, released in a generation one later than the one they were introduced in, like the legendary birds.

All of the Regi Pokémon are single-types and vulnerable to Fighting-type attacks. They also all have seven eyes.

In the anime, they appeared as much less important Pokémon than the other two trios, even being trained, in Poké Balls, no less, by Brandon, whereas the legendary birds would create a worldwide disaster if they were all captured, and the legendary beasts are too powerful to be captured.

The opinion of much of the fandom is that the golems are worthless Pokémon compared to the other trios, legendary only in name. This may be due to the fact that many of the attacks learnable by the members of the trio have only negative effects for the user, such as Superpower, and that their stats are mostly defensive, making Superpower, which lowers both Attack and Defense, almost worthless. In all actuality, the only Pokémon whose name starts with "Regi" that has an Attack power greater than its Defense power is Regigigas.

In Pokémon Colosseum, the event needed to unlock the lengendary golems is referenced to in Battle Mode's Single Battle Mount Battle. The 90th trainer, Area Leader Axley has a party consisting of Regirock, Regice, Registeel, Flygon, Relicanth, and Wailord. Flygon was most likely placed simply as a filler Pokémon.
