(Japanese: バトル&ゲット!ポケモンタイピングDS Battle & Get! Pokémon Typing DS) is a Pokémon game set to be released, and the first Generation V spin-off Pokémon game. It was announced in a Nintendo conference that also announced other games.

Gameplay

The game is played with an attaching keyboard. The player will type a Pokémon's name in Rōmaji; the game uses Nihon-shiki romanizations, not the trademarked ones. Its purpose is to teach Japanese children to type. As the player types the Pokémon's name in Rōmaji, they will catch it, hence the title. The game comes with a Bluetooth-enabled QWERTY keyboard that communicates with the game card, though player may also opt for a keyboard on the touch screen.
