Kyle's dream is to become the world's best noodle chef and he owns a restaurant in [[Saffron City]]. This stems from his childhood as he loved eating noodles and wants to create a noodle meal as good as the perfect one he once received from his father.

However, while Kyle wants to fulfill that dream by cooking and selling noodles, Master Hamm wanted Kyle to take over the Dojo so he could follow his own dreams.  This created tension between the two for a long time. Eventually, they decided to solve the dispute with a Pokémon battle. The battle turned into {{an|May}}, who just wanted to try his noodles, using his {{p|Hitmonchan}} against {{Ash}} using Master Hamm's {{p|Hitmonlee}}.

He works on a local Noodle Shop in Saffron City and is forced to run the Dojo Gym by his father. He refuses and he challenged him to a match to see if he would run it or not. When [[Team Rocket]] interrupted to steal [[Hitmonlee]] and [[Hitmonchan]], [[Terry]] used [[Hitmontop]] to save them. They blasted off again with [[Pikachu|Pikachu's]] [[Thundebolt]].
Kyle received most of the nagging about taking over the Dojo from [[Terri]], his best friend, who did not want it to close.  However, after she used her {{p|Hitmontop}} to rescue their Pokémon from {{TRT}}, Master Hamm allowed her to take over the Dojo so that Kyle was free to follow his dream.


Now his truth is revealed. He explains that the reason why he wanted to start his business cooking up noodles is because when he was a child, he loved eating the noodles and he wanted to fulfill his dream selling and cooking it. His father allowed him to do so.

Kyle Hamm

Kyle Hamm (Japanese: キョウタロウ Kyōtarō) is a character of the day who appeared in the episode Pasta La Vista. He is the son of Master Hamm, the owner of the Fighting Dojo.

Kyle's dream is to become the world's best noodle chef and he owns a restaurant in Saffron City. This stems from his childhood as he loved eating noodles and wants to create a noodle meal as good as the perfect one he once received from his father.

However, while Kyle wants to fulfill that dream by cooking and selling noodles, Master Hamm wanted Kyle to take over the Dojo so he could follow his own dreams. This created tension between the two for a long time. Eventually, they decided to solve the dispute with a Pokémon battle. The battle turned into May, who just wanted to try his noodles, using his Hitmonchan against Ash using Master Hamm's Hitmonlee.

Kyle used his Hitmonchan in the fight for the dojo. The battle was canceled because Kyle's father and opponent, Master Hamm's back was hurting. Hitmonchan was later used by May in a battle against Ash, who used Master Hamm's Hitmonlee.

Hitmonchan's known moves are Comet Punch, Mach Punch, Agility, Focus Punch and Sky Uppercut.
