King of the West, a variation of the Ludicargo archetype, was a Pokémon TCG deck played by Michael Gonzalez in the 2005 World Championships. He was eliminated in the semi-finals. Gonzalez chose a popular Ludicolo deck and added Magcargo and Rhydon to make the deck suitable for world-class competition. The deck took advantage of the obvious synergy formed from Magcargo's Smooth Over Poké-Power and Ludicolo's Swing Dance Poké-Power.
