Keenan: Difference between revisions

Keenan (Japanese: キンヤ Kin'ya) is the character of the day in All That Glitters is Not Golden!.

Ash and co. first met Keenan when they were trying to escape a bunch of rowdy cowboys after mentioning the "Template:Shiny2 Sudowoodo". Keenan led them to his house and away from the cowboys.

Keenan explained to them that the Sudowoodo was actually his. At first he said that his Sudowoodo was naturally golden and even had pictures of him with it. However, Sudowoodo did not look happy in the picture. When the group asks why he didn't return it to its Poké Ball he became nervous.

Later on Ash and friends help Keenan look for Sudowoodo and they eventually find it. When it saw Keenan, it got frightened and ran away. Now the group was more suspicious then ever. Keenan finally admits that Sudowoodo changed to gold during a science experiment. He was trying to figure out a way to make Sudowoodo immune to Template:Type2 attacks.

They later find Sudowoodo being attacked by Team Rocket once again. Keenan attempts to defend his Sudowoodo by attacking Team Rocket's mecha with a shovel. When the robot moves, he grabs on to its leg. Keenan then starts to apologize to Sudowoodo for what he did and that now he would do anything to protect it. Sudowoodo becomes touched by this and then attacks Team Rocket in order to defend its trainer. Sudowoodo destroys the mecha and Pikachu sends Team Rocket blasting off again.

Later Keenan conducts another experiment on Sudowoodo to try to change it back to normal. The experiment worked and Sudowoodo was its normal self again.

• The name Kin'ya contains the word kin, which is Japanese for gold.
