Judgment (Japanese: さばきのつぶて Judgment Strike) is a damage-dealing Normal-type move introduced in Generation IV. It is the signature move of Arceus and, like Arceus, varies in type depending on the Plate held by the user.

Judgment inflicts damage and has no secondary effect. The type of Judgment depends on the type of Plate held by the user, being Normal-type if there is no held Plate.

Games Description
DPPtHGSS The user releases countless shots of light. Its type varies with the kind of Plate the user is holding.
BWB2W2 The user releases countless shots of light at the target. Its type varies with the kind of Plate the user is holding.
Conq The user releases countless shots of light.

  • Due to the types of both Arceus and Judgment being determined by the Plate held, Judgment always receives STAB when used by Arceus.
  • In the English debut of the movie Arceus and the Jewel of Life, Arceus consistently said the word "Justice" whenever using this move.
