The picture used in this infobox is unsatisfactory. Please feel free to replace it so it conforms to Bulbapedia conventions. Reason: needs the picture of the route from Generation IV.
Route 35 is a route in central Johto, connecting Goldenrod City to National Park and the Pokéathlon Dome. The route also has a shortcut that leads directly to Route 36.
Route description
The route is a relatively short route, leading the player in an S-like curve, around a small body of water, and north to the southern entrance to the National Park. At the gate leading from Goldenrod, a guard named Webster will give the player a Spearow with Mail attached to deliver to his friend.

Trivia
Pre-release picture.
Final cut.
- Picnicker Brooke's Japanese name is イクエ Ikue and her only Pokémon is Pikachu. This may be a reference to Ikue Ohtani, the anime voice actress of Ash's Pikachu.
- Upon defeat, Juggler Irwin exclaims, "Oops, dropped my balls!" The innuendo became an infamous quote in the Pokémon fandom; however, it was removed from the Generation IV remakes.
- This route was seen as one of the first pre-release pictures of Pokémon Gold and Silver. It depicts a simplified version of Route 35 and the National Park's southern entrance, except with water instead of trees and fences and no open path to the right.
