James Turner (Japanese: ジェイムスターナー) is a British graphic designer, who currently works at Game Freak. In 2010, he became the first Westerner to officially design Pokémon.

Turner designed seven Pokémon for Pokémon Black and White, two of the Pokémon for Pokémon X and Y and two of the Pokémon for Pokémon Sun and Moon. He also directed the 2012 Nintendo 3DS eShop title HarmoKnight.

Before joining Game Freak, James worked for eight years at Genius Sonority and was credited under the name Jamie Turner.

James Turner is a newer artist in the Pokémon Trading Card Game who made his debut in Next Destinies. He has only illustrated one card.
