In the movie, after meeting up with Ash Ketchum and his friends, he decided to team up with them to help protect the Egg containing Manaphy and deliver it to the Sea Temple [[Samiya]]. When the Egg hatched and Manaphy became close to May, he showed concern about their relationship, knowing they were getting too attached as it was Manaphy's destiny to leave them for the Sea Temple.

Jack Walker (Japanese: ジャック・ウォーカー Jack Walker), or Jackie (Japanese: ジャッキー Jackie), is a protagonist in the movie Pokémon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea.

History

Jack Walker is an athletic young man who decided to become a Pokémon Ranger after being saved from a blizzard by a group of Altaria, Swablu, Furret, Sentret and Shroomish. As such, he takes his duties seriously.

He was first introduced in the movie disguised as one of The Phantom's crew members. When The Phantom originally secured the Manaphy Egg, Jack snatched the Egg and brought the Egg out of submarine by capturing and swimming away on a Mantine.

He was later seen disguised as a clown traveling with Ship's circus crew. When Team Rocket stole the Egg, Jackie captured a Fearow and revealed his identity to Ash and his friends. He revealed to them his plan to safely hatch the Egg, and deliver Manaphy to the Sea Temple, Samiya.

As the crew headed towards Samiya, Jack was shown to be on the lookout for The Phantom using his binoculars to search for him. He also showed concern about May's relationship with Manaphy, knowing they were getting too attached as it was Manaphy's destiny to leave them for the Sea Temple.

When they reach Samiya, Jack learned that they were being followed The Phantom. Jack swam down to Samiya on Mantyke, fearing for the safety of Manaphy who had already headed down to Samiya. By the time he reached Samiya, The Phantom had already removed several of the Sea Crown crystals, causing the Sea Temple to sink. He fought the pirate captain and reattached two of the crystals, however was unable to secure the last crystal. As the Temple continued to sink, Jack used Phantom's personal sub to get away from the sinking Temple.

Throughout the movie, Jack was shown to be under the direction of Judy, the "mission coordinator".

In the credits, Jack was shown to capture and hitch a ride on Zapdos.
