Iron Fist (Japanese: てつのこぶし Iron Fist) is an ability introduced in Generation IV. Ten Pokémon can have this ability. In Generation IV, it was Hitmonchan's signature ability.

Iron Fist causes the Base Power of affected punching moves to increase by 20%.

Trivia

  • Despite having its power boosted by Iron Fist, Meteor Mash cannot be learned by any Pokémon who can naturally have this ability.
  • Sucker Punch is not boosted by Iron Fist, since it is originally ふいうち (Surprise Attack) in Japanese.
    • Similarly, Meteor Mash is boosted because it is known as コメットパンチ (Comet Punch) in Japanese, while Comet Punch is called れんぞくパンチ (Consecutive Punch).
