Incinerate (Japanese: やきつくす Complete Burn) is a damage-dealing Fire-type move introduced in Generation V. It is TM59 Generation V onward.
Effect
Generation V
Incinerate inflicts damage to all adjacent opponents. It destroys any Berries held by the hit Pokémon. Berries that would activate in response to Incinerate, such as the Occa Berry, activate before Incinerate has a chance to destroy them (i.e. damage is halved when Incinerate is used on a Pokémon weak to Fire-type moves holding an Occa Berry).
Incinerate cannot destroy items held by a Pokémon with Sticky Hold. Symbiosis will not activate when an item is destroyed by Incinerate. Items destroyed by Incinerate cannot be recovered by Recycle, Pickup, or Harvest.
Generation VI
Incinerate's power changed from 30 to 60.
Incinerate will now also destroy Gems.
