Incense: Difference between revisions

Incenses are a special class of held items that help Pokémon to breed differently. This allows Pokémon to produce eggs containing baby Pokémon that were introduced beyond Generation II.

The only limitation from using an Incense for breeding is that the baby Pokémon which is produced with the Incense doesn't have the same capability of being able to learn the moves passed down from the father when compared to breeding without an incense. Some examples are, Azurill, who can learn Fake Tears through breeding which Marill cannot, and Marill can learn Aqua Jet through breeding which Azurill cannot.
