The 1st Edition and Shadowless print runs of this card were spelled Impostor Professor Oak and changed to Imposter for all further print runs and reprints. It was reprinted in the Base Set 2 expansion. The original, Imposter-spelled print was rereleased in the Celebrations expansion's Classic Collection for the Pokémon 25th Anniversary.
