Immunity (Japanese: めんえき Immunity) is an Ability introduced in Generation III. Three Pokémon can have this Ability.

Effect

In battle

Immunity prevents the Pokémon from being afflicted by poison. If a poisoned Pokémon gains this Ability during battle (such as via Skill Swap), it will be immediately cured of its poison. If a poisoned Pokémon gains Immunity by evolution or the Ability Capsule, it will remain poisoned, but will be cured of poison as soon as it is sent into battle.

Outside of battle

Pokémon with this Ability can't take damage from poison outside of battle.
