==Walking Pokémon effects==
{{incomplete|section|needs=Verification and whether there are any missing.}}
When the {{player}} interacts with a [[walking Pokémon]] in {{v2|HeartGold and SoulSilver|s}}, the Pokémon may occasionally show an altered mood specific to this location:

===Layout===
* The Pokémon becomes more cautious.
In {{game|Gold and Silver|s}}, the Ice Path looked like an average cave. It was redesigned in {{game|Crystal}}, having received a completely new and unique tile set that better depicts it as an icy cave as well as changes in the features and puzzles. Its design in {{game|HeartGold and SoulSilver|s}} is thus modeled after the Pokémon Crystal design.
* As it is cold, {{type|Ice}} {{OBP|Pokémon|species}} are happy whereas {{type|Grass}}s aren't.

The Ice Path (Japanese: こおりのぬけみち Ice Path) is a four-floored cave located in the Johto region that connects Route 44 with Blackthorn City.

The Ice Path has numerous ice puzzles, which vary in size and difficulty, such as a Strength puzzle involving pushing boulders into holes in order to progress. It is the only place in Johto where wild Swinub, Jynx, and Delibird can be caught.
