ITV1 is a United Kingdom TV a public service network station, is now owned by ITV. It used to show the Kanto and Orange Island Episodes of Pokémon anime. At the time of Pokémon's Transmission, ITV1 was known as ITV, or by the Local Programming company name. ITV1's official name is Channel 3. It is funded by Advertisements, and companies.

This is the only station that shown Pokémon in the UK on terrestrial TV.

GMTV

GMTV is the early morning Programming Block of ITV1, that ran a episode every Saturday, starting around 8:50am and always ended by 9:25am. Pokémon had replaced the Power Rangers-type show. It was shown in this time slot until sometime after the Red and Blue Gameboy games was released in the UK.

SM:TV Live

SM:TV Live is a live Saturday morning show, that started at 9:25am. It usually started after 9:30. SM:TV had Host segment, around the advertisements, and instead of "Name that Pokémon", the had skits, in which the hosts, Ant and Dec, had their own "PokéFight". Some later Segments featured Ant & Dec's PokéRap.

The PokéFights sketches featured "non-official Pokémon" and Ant as "G-G-G-Gary", and Dec as Ash or Misty. They used "Pokémon" as a move. For example, 'Embarrassmon' involved one dueller telling a secret about the other, who would turn red and their health would diminish; or Ant unleashing HeWhoSmeltItDealtIt - "HeWhoSmeltItDealtIt is an Air Pokemon, and the first person to smell its pungent aroma shall be blamed for its origins!" (Fart jokes where commonly used by SM:TV live as other sketches named "FartBeat" and "F'Art Attack") Dec as Misty would often comment about Westlife's Bryan.

The Pokérap, featured the pair as Rappers with a UK car Registration Plate (a reluctant Ant) and a Skoda Badge (energetic Dec) as pendants. They both wore red knitted Jumpers with Pikachu and their names on the front. Allways starting from the cue "Hit it!" Their rap usually in ended with: "Pikachu, Pikachu, P-P-Pikachu!" chorus and the last line "SMTV will make you Poke-tuff; 9:25 every Saturday - don't be a Jigglypuff! Aww yeah, UH!" This sketch was killed off as Dec was crushed by a "10-ton weight" much to the rejoice of the studio, the producers, Richard and Judy host of "This Morning" in their studio, and weather forecaster Siân Lloyd.

This Rap has been claimed to be done on the streets on Japan, during the First Movie Launch in the UK, during the time that some one got the first official Mew in the UK.

CiTV

CiTV is the post School TV programming Block. It also ran during weekdays in after 9:25, until 10:30.

Currently, CiTV is a Free Digital Channel transmitting during the day.

ITV has noticed than once pulled TV Shows Mid-series, Re:boot and Card Captor Sakura before Pokémon, and following Pokémon, Digimon (Season two). ITV1 has recently had to reconsider not showing Episode Two of another TV series.
