In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS/Wii U, Hydro Pump appears as Greninja's up special attack.

In Super Smash Bros. and Super Smash Bros. Melee, Blastoise, a Poké Ball Pokémon, uses Hydro Pump to damage and push away opposing fighters. There are multiple blasts and they can not be reflected.

In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Squirtle uses Hydro Pump as part of Pokémon Trainer's Final Smash: Triple Finish. Kyogre also uses Hydro Pump to push enemies away without damaging them when released from a Poké Ball.
