Hudson Soft Company, Limited (株式会社ハドソン Hudson Inc.) was a video game developer headquartered in Japan. It was founded on May 18, 1973. Initially, Hudson dealt with personal computer products, but has expanded to the development and publishing of video games, mobile content, and video game peripherals. As of 2003, the company employs over 500 people, with offices in Sapporo, Tokyo, and California. Hudson Soft is owned by Konami Corporation. They are mostly known in the Pokémon community as the developers of the Template:Card GB, and its Japan-only sequel, Template:Card GB 2. As of March 1, 2012, Hudson Soft was merged into Konami. The company countiunes developed the games and published under Konami.

Other releases

Hudson is also known for creating games for other publishers, such as the Mario Party series, made for Nintendo, and Fuzion Frenzy 2, made for Microsoft. It also published other renowned games such as Bomberman and Adventure Island.
