Route 130 (Japanese: 130番水道 Water Route 130) is a water route in southeast Hoenn, connecting Route 129 and Route 131.

In Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald, Mirage Island appears at the center of the route under certain circumstances.

Route description

From Route 129, Route 130 maintains an east-west alignment for its entire length. There aren't many Trainers on the water surface on the route, making the task of traversing the pathway that much easier.

In Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald, on certain days Mirage Island will appear in the middle of the route.

Underwater

In Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, there is an underwater section on the route that connects to the underwater section of Route 129. By going underwater and heading northwest players can access the Secret Meadow, where they can build Secret Bases.

Trivia

  • Route 130 bears several similarities to Route 230 in Sinnoh: both routes are east-west water routes with no north or south exits and both contain an island with grass, stairs, and a place to plant Berries. Also, on both routes, the island is the only place to encounter certain baby Pokémon in the wild (Wynaut in Hoenn, Togepi in Sinnoh). However, in Route 130's case, Mirage Island isn't always there.
