Hobbes debuted in Lillie's Egg-xhilarating Challenge!, where he was shown welcoming Lillie at her mansion. He later had a battle with Ash, using his Pom-Pom Style Oricorio to defeat Ash's Rowlet. He also helped to fight off a wild Salandit that had entered Lillie's room.
