Release information

This card was released as a promotional card. In Japan, it came with the November 2001 issue of CoroCoro comic. The English version of the card was first available at Pokémon Center New York in late 2002. Another version later came with the November 2002 issue of Nintendo Power magazine.

Trivia

  • The English version available at Pokémon Center New York has a stamp underneath the illustration that reads "Pokémon Center NY".
  • Ho-Oh is written as Ho-oh on the card. This was prior to Generation III confirming Ho-Oh as the correct way to capitalize the Pokémon's name.
