The hippie is a character of the day in the Pokémon anime. His English voice actress is Maddie Blaustein. Since he was not given a name, this article will refer to him as the hippie.
The hippie's sole appearance was in Wake Up, Snorlax! While walking down a lonely road, the hippie played a Poké Flute for Ash and his friends. They were grateful to the hippie and continued along their way. He also played for Team Rocket but they were less than impressed.
