A Hex Maniac (Japanese: オカルトマニア Occult Maniac) is a type of Pokémon Trainer that first debuted in the Generation III games. They appear as young girls dressed as witches in Generation III and as young girls in long black dresses in Generation VI. They appear to be possessed in the Japanese versions of the Generation III games, much like Channelers before them. Though regardless of this they often have a spooky, eerie demeanour to them.
In Double Battles, a Hex Maniac paired up with a Fairy Tale Girl battle together as Mysterious Sisters.
They specialize in a combination of Psychic-type and Ghost-type Pokémon.
