Trivia

  • This card is one of the few Trainer cards that only ever needs to be played once during a match.
  • The Team Rocket print of this card was one of the first holographic Trainer cards in both English and Japanese. This was also the first Japanese card to feature a Super Rare rarity.
  • Unlike in the anime (prior to the Best Wishes series), Jessie's and James's clothes are colored black instead of white in the first print of this card, much like the grunts of Team Rocket.

Origin

The Team Rocket print illustration features Jessie, James, and Meowth, the trio of Team Rocket agents constantly following Ash.
