Effect
Head Smash inflicts damage and the user receives half of the damage dealt as recoil.

In other generations
Trivia
- In HeartGold and SoulSilver game data, Nosepass is able to learn Head Smash via breeding; however, no Pokémon that can actually learn it has an Egg Group compatible with Nosepass's. Due to this, the move later was removed in Black and White game data.
- Head Smash has the highest base power of all moves that cause recoil damage.
