Guts (Japanese: こんじょう Guts) is an Ability introduced in Generation III. Twenty-one Pokémon can have this Ability.

Effect

In battle

Guts raises the Attack stat by 50% while affected by the burn, paralysis, poison, or sleep status ailments. The Attack drop from burn does not occur.

Outside of battle

Guts has no effect outside of battle.

Mystery Dungeon

A Pokémon with this Ability will gain a 100% bonus to physical attack, provided that the Pokémon has a major status affliction.
