Guts (Japanese: こんじょう Guts) is an Ability introduced in Generation III. Twenty-one Pokémon can have this Ability.
Effect
In battle
Guts raises the Attack stat by 50% while affected by the burn, paralysis, poison, or sleep status conditions. The Attack drop from burn does not occur.
Outside of battle
Guts has no effect outside of battle.
Mystery Dungeon
A Pokémon with this Ability will gain a 100% bonus to physical attack the turn after being inflicted with a major status affliction. If a second status affliction is added or replaces the original affliction, this Ability will not activate.
