Guard Split (Japanese: ガードシェア Guard Share) is a non-damaging Psychic-type move introduced in Generation V.
Effect
Guard Split averages the user's Defense and Special Defense stats with those of the target Pokémon. Both the user's and the target's stat changes are ignored when calculating the average.
Guard Split bypasses accuracy checks to always hit, unless the opponent is in the semi-invulnerable turn of a move such as Dig or Fly.
If powered up by a Psychium Z into Z-Guard Split, the user's Speed stat raises one stage.
