Release information

In Japan, this card was released as a promotion in the January 2003 issue of CoroCoro magazine. It was later reprinted as a holographic promotion for the Spring 2003 Battle Road. The English release of this card was distributed in the October 2003 issue of Nintendo Power magazine. In Australia, the card was distributed in an issue of the kids magazine, K-Zone. All of these promotions were released alongside Kyogre ex.

Major Earthquake is derived from Earthquake, a move in the Pokémon games that Groudon can learn.
