His strategy consists mostly of annoyance. His Articuno's Pokémon Power, Quickfreeze, has a 50% chance of Paralysis. Even worse is that he uses Scoop Up to use it repeatedly to deter enemy attacks. Like Murray of the Psychic Club, he has Chansey and Scoop Up. He might also use Professor Oak to sacrifice his hand to get better cards. An Electric-based deck consisting of Magneton and Raichu to take down his Pokémon is the player's best bet to defeat him.
