Courtney (Japanese: ヒロコ Hiroko) is the first Grand Master. She plays using the Legendary Moltres Deck (Japanese: でんせつのファイアーデッキ Legendary Fire Deck). In Pokémon Card GB 2, she uses the グランドファイヤーデッキ Grand Fire Deck.

Courtney is the first of the 4 Grand Masters, that is available to battle after you obtained all eight Club Medals.

Later on, you are required to fight her in the Pokémon Dome to obtain one of the Legendary cards - Moltres.
