Trivia
- Granbull has had its color changed in every generation. In Gold and Silver, its fur was pink and in Crystal it was changed to purple. In Generation III, its color darkened. In Diamond and Pearl and Platinum, its purple was darkened even more. In HeartGold and SoulSilver, its color was drastically tinted to a more pinkish color, much pinker than its official artwork.
- Its Template:Shiny2 coloration's color also changes, though Generation IV's alternate colored sprites all stayed the same color.
Origin
It is based on an adult bulldog.
Name origin
Granbull's name may be a combination of grand and bull, as in bulldog.
