'''Glitch City Laboratories''' (GCL for short) is a Pokémon fansite, created by [[User:Abwayax|Abwayax]] in 2005 (although it is the latest in a history of sites that spans back to 2003), that focuses primarily on [[glitch|glitches]]. The site looks into them very far, a big part being getting "GlitchDex" entries for all of them, including methods of getting them, moves (starting, standard (up to level 100), advanced (up to level 255), and sprites. Also, a member on the forums, Bluelatios, has gotten cries for many glitch Pokémon. It is unknown if these will ever go into the GlitchDex. Another main part is the "Big List", aka the hex list. This includes hexes from {{v2|Red and Blue|s}}, {{v2|Yellow}}, and {{v2|Gold and Silver|s}}. This will supposedly get an update. It includes not only Pokémon, but also attacks and items.

These are the GlitchDex, the AttackDex, and the ItemDex. The GlitchDex has plenty of information on glitch Pokémon, namely the sprite, the method(s) of obtaining it, as well as moves. The moves are divided into three categories: Starting Moves, learned at level 0, Standard Moves, learned up to level 100, and Advanced Moves, learned up to level 255. The AttackDex is not a database of all attacks like that on [[Serebii.net]], but rather one of all "glitch moves". After that, is the very similar ItemDex. This documents "glitch items".

On December 10, 2010, the site was taken down for maintenance. Users were offered a [http://profglitch.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=temporary temporary forum] until the site was back online. On August 8, 2011, private beta testing of the site [http://profglitch.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=gcltempboard&action=display&thread=404&page=1 was released]; users could request access accounts on the temporary forum. The site was reopened to the public on October 24, 2011; however, some pages still redirect to the maintenance notice.
The projects on the site are big sets of updates all connected to one thing.. The first one, Project Melchior, was to collect data on every single glitch Pokémon in all of the games, at least up to [[Generation III]]. This is "still not finished", as there are more than 65,000 glitch Pokémon in {{v2|Ruby and Sapphire}} that have not yet been documented. This part was recently started by staff member Newo, and was named Melchior X, as the next "part" of the project. The second one, in effect now, Project Balthasar, is to finish a second version of the GlitchDex, the GlitchDex 2.0. Also, in July an overhaul of the site was mentioned, which is actually there next project, Project Pheonix. It is for turning the site into wiki format. Untill the link was leaked by a admin, only member + members knew about the wiki. On Agust 20009, the wiki was officially announced to the public.

Some things to make note of are the naming "Old Man Glitch" for the glitch known for many years as the [[Missingno.]] glitch, as well as the naming of "Bill's Secret Garden" for a glitch getting behind his house. "Bill's Secret Garden" was the name of a [[Fake Pokémon|Pokégod]]-type rumor. And lastly, some glitches there are ones completely unheard of until recently, such as the "ZZAZZ" glitch.
