Gilbert (Japanese: ゲンキ Genki) is a Pokémon Trainer who competed in the preliminary rounds of the Ever Grande Conference.

In Saved by the Beldum, Gilbert was up against Ash during the preliminary rounds. Using his Hitmonlee, he was determined to defeat Ash's Pikachu. However, Pikachu's speed caused his Pokémon's Hi Jump Kicks to miss and injure its leg. He was able to gain a slight advantage when Hitmonlee used Mega Kick on Pikachu, but the Fighting-type Pokémon ended up losing the battle. With that loss, Gilbert was out of the tournament.

		Gilbert's Hitmonlee's only appearance was in Saved by the Beldum where it was used in the preliminary round against Ash and Pikachu in the Ever Grande Conference. The battle begins and Hitmonlee goes for a Rolling Kick but misses and Pikachu uses Iron Tail which deals loads of damage. Hitmonlee goes for Hi Jump Kick but Pikachu dodges and Hitmonlee damages its knee on wall. It dodges Pikachu's attack and uses Mega Kick hitting Pikachu, but before it hits the ground Pikachu uses another Iron Tail fainting it. Hitmonlee's known moves are Rolling Kick, Hi Jump Kick and Mega Kick.
