Trivia

Origin

It seems to be based on a crystal formation.

Name origin

Gigalith's English and Japanese names may have been derived from gigas, a term used to describe a race of earth-born giants in Greek mythology, and the Greek word lithos meaning "stone." It could also be derived from Goliath. It is also derived from the word megalith, a big stone people worshiped in the Neolithic Era. Finally, the name could also be derived from monolith meaning "a geological structure consisting of a single massive rock or stone." The Japanese name may also be derived from "Gaia", the Greek goddess personifying the Earth.

German Brockoloss From Brocken and Koloss.
