Gary's Umbreon (Japanese: シゲルのブラッキー Shigeru's Blacky) was a Pokémon that may have been obtained by Gary while Ash was in the Orange Archipelago. Its English voice actress is Kayzie Rogers. Its Japanese voice actress is Mika Kanai as an Eevee and its initial appearance as an Umbreon. In all other appearances, it is voiced by こおろぎさとみ Satomi Kōrogi.

Umbreon first appeared as an Eevee in The Rivalry Revival where it was used in a battle against Ash and his Pikachu. It was able to defeat Ash's Pikachu easily. Gary took Eevee with him when he left for the Johto region.

It evolved sometime at night prior to the episode Power Play where it was shown to be battling Alex's Alakazam. It had proved itself to be a strong battler. Umbreon was also seen with Gary during Putting the Air Back in Aerodactyl.

It appeared again along with its Trainer in Ill-Will Hunting! where it helped Ash, Brock and Dawn protect the herd of Shieldon from Pokémon Hunter J and her henchmen.

Gary used Umbreon to battle Ash's Gligar in a practice match in Fighting Fear With Fear!.

Umbreon was used again in DP151 in battle against Saturn's Toxicroak alongside Electivire.
