Friend Guard (Japanese: フレンドガード Friend Guard) is an Ability introduced in Generation V. Five Pokémon have this Ability, all of which are Normal types that are not fully evolved. This Ability is exclusively obtained as a Hidden Ability.

Effect

In battle

Friend Guard reduces the damage done to an ally by 25% in Double and Triple Battles.

Outside of battle

Friend Guard has no effect outside of battle.
