Forest's Curse (Japanese: もりののろい Forest's Curse) is a non-damaging Grass-type move introduced in Generation VI. It is the signature move of Phantump and Trevenant.
Effect
Forest's Curse adds the Grass type to the target, in addition to the Pokémon's original type(s). If it is used against a dual-type Pokémon, that Pokémon will have three types at once. If the target already has an additional type added to it by Trick-or-Treat, that type is replaced with the Grass type. Forest's Curse will fail if the target is already Grass-type.
If powered up by a Grassium Z into Z-Forest's Curse, the user's Attack, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense, and Speed are raised by one stage each.

In the anime
The user creates purple colored vines to come out of the ground, which turn the opponent into a Grass-type.

Phantump's eyes shine, and a ring of the same color shoots out of their eyes and hits the ground. The ground grows purple and purple vines grow out from it to constrict the opponent, turning the opponent into a Grass-type.

Trivia
- If a Dragon/Ice-type Pokémon (such as Kyurem) is affected by Forest's Curse, it becomes weak to 10 types, the most of any possible type combination outside of Inverse Battles.
