Forest's Curse (move): Difference between revisions
(→Trivia: Without the mention of it being the /only/ time 8x is possible, this is no longer interesting or notable. It's just pointing out how type multipliers work. Readers can be expected to do simple math, so this is unneeded.) |
(If it's been removed numerous times, there should be a comment in the wikicode telling future editors not to add it. Sorry about that!) |

Forest's Curse (Japanese: もりののろい Forest's Curse) is a non-damaging Grass-type move introduced in Generation VI. It is the signature move of Phantump and Trevenant.
Effect
Forest's Curse adds the Grass type to the target, in addition to the Pokémon's original type(s). If it is used against a dual-type Pokémon, that Pokémon will have three types at once. If the target already has an additional type added to it by Trick-or-Treat, that type is replaced with the Grass type.
Forest's Curse bypasses accuracy checks to always hit, unless the opponent is in the semi-invulnerable turn of a move such as Dig or Fly. It will fail if the target is already Grass-type.
If powered up by a Grassium Z into Z-Forest's Curse, all of the user's stats raise one stage.
