Flower Gift (Japanese: フラワーギフト Flower Gift) is an Ability introduced in Generation IV. It is the signature Ability of Cherrim.

Effect

In battle

Generation IV

During harsh sunlight, Flower Gift increases the Attack and Special Defense stats of the user and its allies by 1.5×.

Flower Gift is not responsible for changing Cherrim from Overcast Form into Sunshine Form.

Generation V

Flower Gift now changes Cherrim from Overcast Form to Sunshine Form during harsh sunlight. If Cherrim loses Flower Gift or Flower Gift is suppressed with Gastro Acid, it will revert to its Overcast Form.

Outside of battle

Flower Gift has no effect outside of battle.
