A very appealing move, but after using this move, the user is more easily startled.

Flare Blitz (Japanese: フレアドライブ Flare Drive) is a damage-dealing Fire-type move introduced in Generation IV.

Effect

Flare Blitz will thaw out the user if it is frozen, and then inflict damage on the target.

Flare Blitz will cause the user to receive recoil damage equal to ⅓ of the damage done to the target. This move has a 10% chance of burning the target.

Description

Games Description
DPPtHGSS The user cloaks itself in fire and charges at the foe. The user sustains serious damage, too.
BWB2W2 The user cloaks itself in fire and charges at the target. The user sustains serious damage and may leave the target burned.
XYORAS The user cloaks itself in fire and charges the target. This also damages the user quite a lot. This may leave the target with a burn.
