Five Island, a large contrast to its counterpart, Four Island, is one of the most open and accessible towns of the Sevii Islands.
Not much of importance is placed on the town itself, as the many routes, both land and water, surrounding it have much to do and see. In fact, upon leaving the town, players will notice the familiar theme of Johto's Lake of Rage as the route music.
The inhabitants of the town heavily criticized Team Rocket's warehouse to the south as being a waste of space and destroying the peace.
The background music used in Five Island is the same as that of Azalea Town and Blackthorn City of Johto.
