(Japanese: テッシード Tesshido) is a dual-type Grass/Steel Pokémon introduced in Generation V.

It evolves into Nattorei starting at level 40.

Biology

Physiology

Tesshido is similar in appearance to a durian. Both are spherical "plants" that have many thorns around their bodies that are used for protection. Tesshido have metallic bodies with band-like stripes and green thorns. They also have two small yellow eyes with black pupils.

Gender differences

None.

Special abilities

It uses moves to increase its defenses, such as Curse and Iron Defense, as well as supporting moves such as Ingrain, Leech Seed, Spikes, and Stealth Rock. Its spherical shape allows it to execute moves such as Gyro Ball and Rollout, and it can also use Explosion.
