Fennekin (Japanese: フォッコ Fokko) is a Fire-type Pokémon.

Along with Chespin and Froakie, Fennekin is one of three starter Pokémon in Pokémon X and Y.

Along with Chespin, Froakie, Xerneas, and Yveltal, it was the first Generation VI Pokémon to be revealed to the public, being revealed on January 8, 2013 as part of the Pokémon Direct broadcast.

Biology

Physiology

Fennekin are quadruped, fox-like Pokémon. They are covered in pale yellow fur that is longer on their haunches. Their ears are very large with tufts of dark orange fur on the insides. Their tail is fluffy with a dark orange tip. The muzzle on Fennekin is white with longer fur on each side of its face, and a small, pointed, black nose. They have small paws with no visible toes and slim legs.
