The Embedded Tower is home to the weather trio, which consists of Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza. In HeartGold, Kyogre appears when the player receives the Blue Orb from Mr. Pokémon. In SoulSilver, Groudon appears after the player obtains the Red Orb from Mr. Pokémon. Rayquaza will appear when the player shows Kyogre and Groudon (to obtain both, trade with another person) to Professor Oak in Pallet Town and he will give the player the Jade Orb so the player can find Rayquaza. All will appear in the same place.

A long time before the events of HeartGold and SoulSilver, the Embedded Tower was a enormously tall tower built by people who came from the [[Hoenn]] region. Its peak was said to touch the sky. However, as seen in the games, part of it was embedded into the cliffs of Route 47, and also ran deep underground into the ocean, in that way connecting the land, the sea, and the sky.

The appearance of the interior changes depending on which of the trio occupies it at the time. If Kyogre is in the room, the markings on the floor will be red and depict the pattern on Kyogre's fins. If Groudon is there, then the markings will be blue and show Groudon's arm patterns. If Rayquaza is occupying the Embedded Tower, then the markings will be yellow and represent those on Rayquaza's body.

Pokémon world locations

The Embedded Tower (Japanese: うずもれのとう Hidden Tower) is an area located on Route 47 in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver. It is where GroudonSS/KyogreHG and Rayquaza rest.

Orbs

The Embedded Tower cannot be accessed until the player is in possession of the Blue OrbHG/Red OrbSS. If a Kyogre and a Groudon that are caught at the Embedded Tower are both shown to Professor Oak, he will award the player with the Jade Orb to awaken Rayquaza. Groudon and Kyogre from any other location will not count towards getting the Jade Orb.

Appearance

The appearance of the interior changes depending on which of the trio occupies it at the time. If Kyogre is in the room, the markings on the floor will be red and depict the pattern on Kyogre's fins. If Groudon is there, then the markings will be blue and show Groudon's arm patterns. If Rayquaza is occupying the Embedded Tower, then the markings will be yellow and represent those on Rayquaza's body.

History

A long time before the events of HeartGold and SoulSilver, the Embedded Tower was an enormously tall tower built by people who came from the Hoenn region. Its peak was said to touch the sky, and part of it was embedded into the cliffs of Route 47, running deep underground into the ocean— thus connecting the land, the sea, and the sky.
