The Eject Button (Japanese: だっしゅつボタン Break-Out Button) is a type of consumable held item introduced in Generation V.

Effect

A one-time use item that forces the holder to switch out when hit by an attack. Eject Button allows the Pokémon to bypass trapping moves, such as Block or Wrap, and Ingrain.

U-turn and Volt Switch will not force the user to switch if the target is holding an Eject Button.

If a Pokémon with Emergency Exit or Wimp Out holds an Eject Button, the Eject Button activates before the Ability has the opportunity to.
