This card was first released in Expedition Base Set with artwork by "Big Mama" Tagawa. It was reprinted in the EX Team Magma vs Team Aqua, EX Delta Species, and EX Crystal Guardians sets with a full-frame view of the same artwork. These prints omit the words "other than a Baby Pokémon card" in the second sentence. It was reprinted in the Unleashed expansion with new artwork by Takashi Yamaguchi, and removes the word "card" from the second sentence. The Japanese release of this print was reclassified as a Goods card, but the English did not adopt this name and continued classifying it as a Trainer card. The Leafeon vs Metagross Expert Deck print also received new artwork by Takashi Yamaguchi, which was later used in the Call of Legends expansion.
