Effect

Drill Run deals damage and has an increased critical hit ratio.

Excadrill Excadrill puts its arms up to its head and forms its body into a drill. It then jumps into the air and rotates its body while charging at the opponent, stabbing the opponent with its drill-like body, or Excadrill jumps into the air and holds out its arms. It then spins its body rapidly and dives forward, stabbing the opponent with the protrusion sticking out of its head.

Trivia

  • Fearow is the only non-Ground-type Pokémon to learn Drill Run.
    • Therefore, Fearow is also the only Pokémon that doesn't receive STAB from Drill Run.
  • Drilbur is the only Pokémon able to learn Drill Run that isn't dual type.
  • No Pokémon from Generations II and III can learn Drill Run. However, Smeargle can learn it via Sketch.
